Present Cube - December 2011
The Present Skewb is a sticker variation of a Skewb Cube. The theme of the puzzle is a gift/ present and the solving challenge lies in correctly orientating four of the centre squares; with all lines in a vertical position. All stickers were cut by hand from sheets of vinyl adhesive.

Making this puzzle was a nice sticker cutting exercise and although I could have used pre-cut Skewb stickers for the body of the puzzle, I wanted to achieve a consistent finish, which could not be done if both pre-cut and hand-cut stickers were used.

Cutting the stickers took longer than I thought, with the whole process taking around two hours, which was spread over a couple of days. I made a point not to do everything in one sitting as I knew quality would lessen if I were to do so.

The puzzle is not particularly hard to solve; with neither corner positioning or orienting being necessary and the four important centre squares are in a solved position in two of their four possible orientations. However it is still a fun little puzzle to play with.
